Ripple is investing in the rebranded Bitwise Physical XRP ETP (GXRP) to strengthen its European presence. Bitwise, which entered the European market in August, is rebranding its entire ETP portfolio and expanding its operations. The GXRP ETP offers European investors exposure to XRP through a physically backed product. Bitwise reported significant growth in 2024 and plans to launch more institutional-grade crypto ETPs, including Bitcoin and Ether-based ETFs. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse noted rising global demand for crypto-backed investment products amid clearer U.S. regulations.
