Demex Daily #301: Zilliqa Launches Aventurine Proto-Mainnet for Zilliqa 2.0

Zilliqa has launched the Aventurine proto-mainnet, marking a key step toward Zilliqa 2.0. Aventurine improves upon the previous Jasper testnet and introduces interoperability between Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and Zilliqa's Scilla smart contract language. It supports existing Zilliqa dApps and tokens, with plans for bridging to BSC. The proto-mainnet also features delegated staking contracts, including support for liquid staking. Zilliqa's partnership with EMURGO and Wanchain aims to enable a cross-chain bridge between Zilliqa 2.0 and Cardano. This release provides developers and validators an opportunity to experiment with the new protocol ahead of the mainnet launch.
