Demex Daily #337: SSV Network Launches SSV 2.0 for Ethereum Security & Connectivity
What’s Interesting Today:
SSV Network is launching a new framework, SSV 2.0, to enable “based” applications (bApps) to connect directly to Ethereum’s layer-1 chain, enhancing security and interoperability. Built on Distributed Validator Technology (DVT), this upgrade strengthens Ethereum’s validator network, supports layer-2 solutions, oracles, and fraud-proofs, and introduces a new coordination layer, SSV Chain, for cross-chain compatibility with Solana, Avalanche, and Cosmos. The updated tokenomics include new staking rewards, burning mechanisms, and enhanced validator earnings. With over $6.5 billion in total value locked and 2 million ETH restaked, SSV aims to reduce fragmentation and improve Ethereum’s scalability.
