Demex Daily #47: $IMX Top GameFi Titles Prepare for Immutable's Ethereum Layer 2 Launch"

What’s Interesting Today:

Render Network, a decentralized GPU rendering platform, is transitioning from Ethereum to Solana to benefit from higher throughput and lower transaction costs. To ease the upgrade process, Render has set aside 1.14 million RNDR tokens (worth approximately $2.6 million) to subsidize user fees. The team will use Wormhole for asset transfers during the move.

Immutable, a company focused on scaling Ethereum, is gearing up for the launch of its Layer 2 solution, the Immutable zkEVM, powered by Polygon, attracting a wave of web3 gaming projects. Set to go live early next year, it has already secured commitments from a number of games, including the Disney China-supported Sailwars. The anticipation has contributed to a recent 8.6% increase in its IMX token's price, with a 30% gain over the last fortnight, reflecting a broader surge in GameFi tokens' values. Key projects joining include GensoKishi Online, a metaverse adaptation with 8 million downloads and ties to Square Enix, and Cursed Stone, a 3D MMORPG that integrates distinctive NFTs. Immutable is targeting the end of January for the public deployment of its zkEVM network.
