Demex Daily #42: $TON $MNT TON and Mantle Team Up for Easier Blockchain Trading on Telegram

What’s Interesting Today:

TON Foundation has teamed up with Mantle Network to enhance Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible Layer 2 blockchain functionalities on TON. A new wrapped form of Mantle's token, dubbed $jMNT, has been introduced on the decentralized exchange to streamline cross-network trading. In addition, they will employ a Telegram-specific tool, @community_bot, to foster information sharing and engagement between their Telegram communities, with the goal of establishing a unified Web3 ecosystem for Telegram's vast user base.

Clearpool, a decentralized finance (DeFi) credit marketplace, has extended its operations to Optimism's OP Mainnet. It has also secured a 150,000 OP grant (roughly $205,000) from the Optimism Foundation, specifically aimed at incentivizing lenders in borrower pools. This was revealed in an announcement from the company. Fasanara Digital and Portofino Technologies have initiated the first lending pools on this platform, allowing users to lend USDT and get automatically compounded, variable risk-adjusted returns without any lock-up periods. These lending pools are also enhanced by Idle's Yield Tranches, which provide added layers of risk management and additional returns. Idle has similarly received a 150,000 OP grant aimed at lenders on Clearpool.
