The Wormhole Base Camp, a 12-week Web3 accelerator program, has been launched by Wormhole Foundation in partnership with Outlier Ventures and with backing from Borderless Capital. The program aims to support early-stage Web3 startups that intend to use Wormhole's cross-chain messaging capabilities. Participating teams will benefit from workshops, mentorship, and an investment of $200,000 USD from Borderless Capital. The program will offer specialized support in areas like Cross-chain Liquidity, Infrastructure, Data and Payments, and Cross-chain Decentralized Identity. Applications for the accelerator are open until December 2023, with the program set to begin in January 2024.
De.Fi, a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform, has unveiled its De.Fi 2.0 suite, aimed at bolstering security, usability, and connectivity in the DeFi space. Since its 2020 inception, De.Fi has amassed over 3 million users. De.Fi 2.0's offerings encompass a smart contract antivirus tool, a user-friendly dashboard for managing multi-blockchain crypto portfolios, an integrated yield farming platform, and social features. The platform's future plans include an AI chatbot for DeFi advice, a layer 2 blockchain, and a DeFi-centric social network. The antivirus tool has already thwarted 540,000 scam tokens, and De.Fi recently raised $1 million in a token sale in just six hours. De.Fi aspires to be the primary DeFi access point for mainstream users.
